Robert Weaver grew up in Peru, Indiana which was the winter headquarters of many big-time circuses during the mid-20th Century. He received his degree in art from Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. Following which he was commissioned into the US Nave during World War II. Upon his return to the US, he took a teaching position at Herron and chaired the illustration department. According to is son, his subject interests were split between two major themes -- the Indianapolis 500 and the circus. We're very interested in purchasing Robert Weaver paintings.
