"Will Henry Stevens was from Vevay, IN and studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the Art Students League. He was active in North Carolina and eventually on faculty at Newcomb College in New Orleans. These two abstract floral landscapes are very representative of his later period during which his interest in abstraction colored much of his output."
