Leota Williams Loop | Angel's Trumpets | ![]() |
Indiana Artists Club 11th Annual Exhibition This Leota Loop painting was featured in our weekly email on 6/6/14 along with the following gallery comments: Though she executed her share of landscapes, Leota Loop is most well-known for floral still lifes. Hailing from Kokomo and maintaining a studio and residence in Nashville, florals were her over-winter outlet for creation. Angel’s Trumpets is a very representative example of her work. Soft, muted and with the arrangement exhibiting quiet drama. The painting was recently cleaned and conserved and it’s housed in the unrestored, original frame. A nicely rendered example with a strong exhibition record from one of Indiana’s premier still life painters. – Curt Churchman, Fine Estate Art | Oil on Canvas | Signed Lower Right |
