Extremely reclusive landscape painter who lived in Nashville, IN. He was 'rescued' by authorities, very ill, at his home sometime around 1990 and placed into a nursing home. At that time, it was discovered that he had somewhere around 500 of his own paintings with him in his house, claiming to have never sold anything he painted. Source: Who's was Who in American Art
