Robert Weaver, grew up in Peru, IN -- known for being the winter headquarters of many famous circus companies, including Ringling Brothers. He received a bachelors in art from Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and was commissioned into the US Navy during World War II. Returning to the US, he served as faculty at Herron for many many years. His primary teaching focus was illustration. His artwork his two primary themes. As his son put it, Weaver's two major interests were the circus and the Indianapolis 500 and 90% of his work reflects these two interests. We're very interested in Robert Weaver artwork.
