Submitted by a site visitor: Nancy Marie Suffrins was born Nancy Marie Wallace in New York about 1824. She first married Samuel Crall, a physician. He died shortly after Nancy gave birth to her son Eggbert Leroy Crall who later died from a carriage accident. Nancy moved to Ohio in the 1850's Where she married David Suffrins of Eaton. She worked with photographer Samuel McClain of Eaton, Ohio for a while. Her son also did apprenticeship with him. Nancy married artist David Suffrins in Eaton, Ohio. They did their work in Circleville, then Eaton, then Indianapolis. Their son Charles became an artist and worked for the Indianapolis paper as a cartoonist.
