--- (SOLD) This Kaeser painting was featured in our weekly email on 8/15/14 along with the following gallery comments: "William F. Kaeser was a fixture in the Indianapolis art scene from the 1930s through the end of his life in 1987. He founded what is now the Indianapolis Art Center with WPA grant money and was president of the Indiana Artists Club. His subject matter was often man in his environs – reflecting local scenes and frequently with figures. In that respect, Fishin’ (our title) is very representative. A man on a stream in his boat enjoying a timeless pastime. Or catching dinner. If you like that WPA-era look and do the Indiana/Midwestern thing, Kaeser’s work is a natural." – Curt Churchman, Fine Estate Art
